STEP 01
Check your space
Measure your cabinet opening or shelf area against the final product dimensions, leaving enough room in front to remove the sorting tray.
STEP 02
Gather and sort
Collect clean, completely dry containers and lids, then group them by shape, size, or how frequently you use them.
STEP 03
Set up the compartments
Position the dividers around your container groups, nest compatible bases gently, and place lids upright in the side section.
STEP 04
Label matching groups
Use the same descriptive label for each container lane and its corresponding lid section, such as “Round / Small” or “Lunch / Rectangle.”
STEP 05
Use the pairing tray
After unloading the dishwasher, place the tray on the countertop to gather loose lids, match pieces, and sort smaller accessories before putting everything away.
STEP 06
Review and reset
Place unmatched pieces in the designated holding compartment, review them periodically, and return the empty tray to its slot once the system is reset.
